About AircraftMD

AircraftMD was built to solve a simple problem:

Aircraft need reliable maintenance, and too often it’s hard to get when and where it’s needed.

Downtime is an inconvience that costs money, disrupts plans, and creates unnecessary pressure for owners and operators who just want their airplanes maintained correctly and efficiently. We remove friction from that process by bringing professional aircraft maintenance directly to the airplane.

We operate as a mobile maintenance provider, based in the Midwest with the ability to deploy nationwide. The goal is to fill the growing gap between availability, speed, and quality that many operators are feeling today.

How We Work

Straightforward and Direct

Have a question or want to get started? Get in touch with us on the contact page!

Contact

Give us a call, text, email, or fill out the contact form with a brief description of what you’re dealing with.

Consultation

We’ll talk through the aircraft, the situation, and your timeline. This is where we determine what can be done on-site, what resources are needed, and whether mobile service makes sense for your operation.

Confirmation

Once the scope is clear, we confirm timing, travel, and expectations. You’ll know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and what the next steps look like before anything begins.

Work Performed

Maintenance, inspection, or support is completed on-site whenever possible. The focus is always on doing the work correctly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to your operation.

Post-Job Review & Follow Up

After the work is complete, you’ll receive a clear summary of what was done, documentation as required, and guidance on any upcoming items worth planning for. Follow-up support is always available.

How We Started

Meet "Dr. Phil"

I grew up on a farm in the Midwest, where one of my neighbors flew a Taylorcraft off his hayfield. Watching that airplane come and go planted the aviation seed early. I started flying in high school, and not long after, found my way into aircraft maintenance.

Over the years, my career took me through hands-on maintenance work and into jet operations, flying Part 135 Falcon 20's on both domestic and international flights. That time in the cockpit sharpened my understanding of how maintenance decisions affect the real-world operations of schedules, crews, owners and clients who all rely on the aircraft to work.

Eventually, I circled back to maintenance after seeing how difficult it had become for operators to find reliable, responsive support. Long shop delays, limited availability, and unsolved logistical struggles were becoming the norm. Aircraft MD was built as a practical answer to that problem.
Why AircraftMD is Different

Mobility and Efficiency

We operate with a dedicated service aircraft and ground equipment that allow us to reach aircraft quickly, often faster across the Midwest than traditional airline travel. That mobility allows inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to happen where the airplane already is, reducing downtime and unnecessary logistics.

Because we’re fully rated pilots and mechanics, services can often be combined. Ferry flights, test flights, inspections, and maintenance coordination can be handled under one roof, simplifying the process for owners and operators.

The approach is straightforward: show up prepared, do the work correctly, document it clearly, and leave the aircraft and the owner better off than when we arrived.

Approachability Matters

Aircraft ownership and management can feel complicated. It doesn’t have to.

Whether you’re dealing with a time-sensitive issue or just want to talk through an upcoming inspection or purchase, you’ll always get straight answers and an honest conversation. If something makes sense, we’ll say so. If it doesn’t, we’ll explain why.

We value long-term relationships, not just one-off transactions. Many clients call back because they know what to expect; consistent standards, clear communication, and work that’s done right.

If you think we might be a good fit, reach out. We're always happy to talk.
